Description: Enhance the performance of your Ford Mustang with the FM8-HDR6 kit from ACT. This kit features ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate paired with their 6-pad rigid race disc. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. Each diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for unparalleled durability. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency.

The 6-pad rigid race disc included in this kit is made with high-quality ceramic friction materials, ensuring strength and durability. The lightweight, rigid design allows for quicker shifts and smooth, trouble-free service. Although engagement with the 6-pad rigid race disc is harsher, shifting is faster, making it ideal for race applications and larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.
