It’s swap time again! Time to tidy up your yarn stash and purge the stuff you’re never going to use. That’s right, you can bring us your shame and leave your guilt in our yarn swap bins with the assurance that the yarn that didn’t work out for you will have a second (or third, or fourth) life in a new home.
What do you do at a yarn swap? Bring in the yarn and needles you don’t want and take home whatever you like from our swap bins.
Bring
- Yarn (MUST be in a sealed ziplock bag)
- Knitting Needles & Crochet Hooks
- Knitting & Crochet Notions, Accessories, Books
- Embroidery, cross-stitch, needlepoint, weaving materials
- NOTE: partial balls are fine, but they MUST be bagged in a sealed ziploc.
Details
The leftovers are donated to charities, and don’t be embarrassed by the quality of the yarn you bring, whatever is left over is donated to charities like Street Knit, most of whom prefer acrylic! If you want to donate but can’t make the date please feel free to drop it by when we are open, sealed up in a plastic bag. The only yarn we can’t accept is anything that is strongly scented (cigarette smoke or perfume). We are also a drop-off point for Street Knit and Knitted Knockers of Canada.

Weak battery base on saw module.

Probably would work for light duty. I used this thing less than 8 hours (less than a single day of work) and the saw broke at the base that it connects to the extension pole.
The motor on the saw itself seemed powerful enough. It got hung up in a branch and then broke on one side of the battery slide in (which was connected to the pole extension, as per the saw's design)
Probably buy a more durable one if you're really planning on doing some work with it. Bet it was made for city people.

Convenient and powerful

This 2-in-1 electric pole saw works great for trimming tall branches without needing a ladder.
The 14.5 ft extension reach makes it easy to cut high branches safely from the ground.
It has strong cutting power, and the 10-inch chainsaw blade handles thicker branches well.
The compatible Dewalt 20V battery and included 4.0Ah battery provide good runtime.

Amazing Pole Saw! Look no further!

My DeWalt pole saw broke (after 2 years of occasional use) so I bought this one. I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, this new off-brand pole saw is awesome!
It's well built. You can use the saw without the pole (which you can't do with DeWalt). It has a battery indicator LED screen on the top of the saw. DeWalt doesn't.
It comes with a battery that can charge two different ways. You can use a DeWalt charger or you can plug the charger that comes with it into the top of the unit.
The saw comes fully assembled except for the handle. The bar and chain are all ready setup and dialed in (an industry first)!
It came with everything needed to operate except for the chain oil. Even came with a screw driver to put the handle on.
The chain that comes with it isnt great but it cuts. It actually cut extremely well but dulled after about an hour of nonstop use.
Most importantly, it cuts just as good as my DeWalt pole saw. Dead serious.
This is an awesome saw. Comparable to DeWalt. Buy one before they sell out and you can't find em anymore. I had a hard time finding this saw on Amazon. I saw a review for it on YouTube and had to use the affiliate link to find it. There were a ton of other pole saws that looked almost identical. I can't speak to them - but this one is a no-brainer. An absolute steal at the price!
I don't work in tree service any more and wouldn't use it if I did, but I am a contractor and from time to time I need a pole saw and this one fits the bill.
