Installation & Maintenance Tips
- Only allow a qualified workshop or technician familiar with Toyota 1GR-FE engines to remove and install the oil pump assembly.
- Thoroughly inspect the old pump, pickup and housing for signs of scoring, debris or lack of lubrication to identify and address the root cause of failure.
- Ensure the engine sump, oil pickup, galleries and oil cooler (if fitted) are cleaned and flushed so that no metal particles or sludge remain.
