Carved from heavy plate steel, it measures over four feet in length and 21 inches in height. It has a raw steel looking finish that I textured using a grinder followed with several sanding pads. A thin clear coat protects it from rusting while still letting the natural finish of the steel shine through. There can be two holes placed in the upper back to allow for it to be easily mounted to a wall or hung from a ceiling.
I have made a couple of other fish for people. Some of them creepy deep sea monsters in black tones and others simple trout in rustic brown.
