The EDC31 charges quickly through its built-in USB-C port, reaching full charge in under two hours. On its lowest mode, it runs for up to 57 hours. A tailcap power indicator shows battery status and charging progress. Two lockout modes, controlled by a sliding switch, help prevent accidental activation. Half Lockout Mode still allows access to Search and Lumin Shield, while Full Lockout completely disables activation.
