Sunman eArc 85W 9V Flexible Solar Panel for Mobile & Curved Roof Installs

The Sunman eArc 9V 85W flexible solar panel is engineered for lightweight, low-profile solar on vehicles and surfaces where traditional framed glass modules are impractical. Designed with a flexible composite construction and a junction box underneath for a cleaner top-side finish, it’s well suited to caravans, motorhomes, yachts, buses, trains and other mobile or space-constrained applications.

This model is an 85W 9V solar panel. That 9V output is a key selection point: it can be an excellent match for certain charging systems, but it needs to be configured correctly when charging a 12V battery. The information below explains the common wiring and controller options so you can design a system that performs as expected under Australian conditions.

Charging a 12V Battery from a 9V Solar Panel: Your Options

Because this panel is 9V nominal, you typically need either higher array voltage (by wiring panels in series) or a controller designed to boost lower input voltage.

  • Option 1 (common): Wire two panels in series to create ~18V, then connect to a standard PWM or MPPT solar controller such as a Victron 75/15 MPPT SmartSolar or Victron PWM USB & LCD 20A
  • Option 2: Use a voltage-boosting solar controller (boost controllers are less common and often higher cost), such as a Genasun GVB model
  • Controller compatibility note: Some REDARC units such as the BCDC12XXD and Manager30 can charge from 9V solar panels, so one panel may function with those controllers (please check your manual first to confirm)

If you’re planning a caravan solar system upgrade, confirming controller input requirements early helps avoid under-voltage issues and ensures your battery charging performance aligns with your expectations.

Compact Mono-PERC Cells in a Flexible, Frame-Free Design

This new version of the Sunman eArc series uses monocrystalline Mono-PERC solar cells to support strong energy yield from a compact footprint. The flexible form factor makes it easier to mount on subtly curved surfaces and low-clearance rooftops, without the weight and profile of framed panels.

Built using a patent-pending composite material (often compared to aircraft window materials), Sunman eArc panels are designed to be tough without requiring heavy glass or a rigid aluminium frame. They are CEC-approved technology, supporting confidence for installers and customers looking for compliant solar components in Australia.

Free Vented Gap Kit (VGK) Included for Improved Mounting

Free Vented Gap Kit Included! Correct mounting is critical for flexible solar panels, particularly on vehicle roofs where heat and airflow can affect performance. The included Vented Gap Kit is designed to improve airflow under the panel, helping to reduce surface heat build-up and support more stable output.

Please carefully follow the mounting instructions here, which include the below:

  • Vented Gap Kit: Improves panel efficiency and reduces surface heating. Includes high bond double-sided adhesive tape and polycarbonate strips (height increase of approximately 15mm)

Key Features

  • 85W flexible solar panel (9V) for space-limited and curved mounting surfaces
  • Junction box underneath to support a clean top-side profile
  • Mono-PERC monocrystalline cells for efficient energy production in a compact format
  • Lightweight, frame-free composite construction designed for mobile applications
  • CEC-approved for residential and commercial use in Australia
  • Free Vented Gap Kit included to support airflow, reduce heat build-up and improve mounting outcomes

Built for Australian Mobile Power Setups

Whether you’re fitting out a tourer, replacing older caravan solar panels, or building a compact solar solution on a marine roof, the Sunman eArc format prioritises practical installation and reduced roof load. The combination of flexible construction, efficient cell technology, and the included vented gap mounting approach is particularly relevant for Australian conditions, where rooftop temperatures can climb quickly and airflow management matters.

For best results, match the panel configuration to your controller and battery setup. If you’re unsure whether one panel will suit your system, consider whether you’ll be running two panels in series into a standard MPPT/PWM controller, or using a compatible charger that accepts lower solar input voltage.

Choose the Sunman eArc 85W flexible solar panel when you need a low-profile, lightweight panel from a recognised brand—paired with clearer guidance on how to integrate 9V solar into real-world 12V battery systems.

Vale is an 8 month pregnant omega working as a waitress at a strip club and a cam girl. She starts to get very creepy vibes from a regular at the club, and her baby daddy ghosted her. She has had an online relationship with a man named Bishop through her cam girl status. One night, bishop was paying to watch her sleep and ansthe creepy regular Andrew break in and watch her sleep he tells vale to come to him at his business now. She flees and finds herself at a large security company with some.hot of alphas who are there to help her. This imegaverse is a little different than I have read, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Vale is not a traditional omega she was raised by a single beta mom, and the alphas are not normal alphas they have never really loved pack life. But they are ruthless mercenaries. They need her, and she needs them. I love the aspect of the stalker and now the plot twists at the end, so so good. Sometimes, it seemed a little slow and stale mated, but since this a duet, I think It was just her starting to have Vale get to know her alpha suitors. Cliffhanger for sure with this one.

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol

I just knew there was something about Cooper! I’m wondering if he’s about to be included but damn I’m glad he’s at least not a rapist and creepy guy, he just got called on assignment and had to go! This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
