This VPU (Voice Projection Unit) is specially designed for the C50 and FM50 masks. The VPU and internal microphone can easily be connected via the Electronic Communication Port (ECP) on the mask.

NOTE: The  VPU Gen II will NOT function without the Dynamic Microphone
Assembly. If you are not purchasing this product as a replacement unit, or you do not already have the Dynamic Mic, you will need to purchase the VPU with Mic Assembly. 

The VPU must be used with the Voice Projection Unit Microphone or Microphone Assembly.

The Voice Projection Unit and Microphone Assembly are intrinsically safe and conform to UL Std. 913 Class I, II, III Div.I Gr. A - G, T4.

This item does not have an ATEX approval.

FEATURES:

• Electronic Communication Port (ECP) allows a Voice Projection Unit (VPU) to be safely connected in a CBRN environment to an internal microphone.
• Additional communication systems can be attached via this ECP using an appropriate lead, such as personal radios and vehicle communication systems.
