Linda has led an interesting life. Besides teaching third grade, which was an adventure every day, she cut an album with a rock band, enjoyed scuba diving around the world, and rode four wheelers in the desert.Even though she leads a quieter life now, she loves playing in the handbell choir at church, taking walks on the beach, watching the ducks, geese and cardinals in her backyard, and feeding the adorable squirrel that constantly begs for peanuts.Linda lives in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She loves traveling to see her kids and grandchildren who live from coast to coast.

Feixue Mei is a designer, artist, illustrator, and educator whose work examines cultural production as a means of questioning social norms. Drawing on internet culture, comics, Surrealism, and Chinese folk art, she creates conceptual, narrative-rich imagery exploring diaspora, fluid identity, otherness, and mistranslation. Her work has received awards from IDA, Graphis, American Illustration, 3x3, JIA, and Indigo, and her publications are held in collections at RISD, VCU, and Printed Matter. She holds an MFA from VCU, and is an Assistant Professor at James Madison University.

They're okay, but they're quite bulky.
I liked the design and overall application of these, but they don't fit my needs. They definitely work well at protecting my hands from freezing weather, but they are way too bulky for regular motorcycle use. In my opinion, I feel that these would be much more suited for a snowmobile or ATV. If you treat them as what they’re mostly designed for — ATV/snow-related riding or cold-weather utilitarian use — these gloves are a solid buy. They deliver warmth, weather protection, and decent control through the TPU windows. But if you put them on a fast street motorcycle or expect “motorcycle-glove” levels of control and feel — they’ll likely disappoint or even pose safety trade-offs. In that context, lighter and more control-oriented gloves would probably serve you better. The reason I'm docking stars is because they're marketed toward motorcycle users, and they;re very impractical. The durability seems pretty good, as I've taken them out and even had a couple of rocks/road debris hit the TPU windows with no scratches or punctures. They're not super comfortable to use at highway speeds, especially since they fit so loose, and they tend to press my front brake/clutch which is very dangerous. I personally cannot recommend this product for motorcycle use, unless you already have handguards, which will probably negate the need for these at all. Invest in some good heated gloves and/or heated grips, and I think you'll be much safer and better off in the end. For the price, I think this is a good value, but they're just not for me.

Good quality, not great on clutch
The quality of these is very good. They break the wind very well. Too well, actually. On my bike when going above 60 MPH they press hard enough on the clutch to be a problem. I'm sure I'll still use them but they won't be of any value on the interstate. It's possible to hold the clutch while using them but, for me at least, I don't have the strength to do it for my 45 minute commute. Unfortunately, the openings seem to fold up making it difficult to get gloved hands into them quickly, which is my reason for subtracting a star.
