Nitro-Max ANSI/ANSI taps are produced with a reduced neck to allow for longer reach, improved coolant flow, and easier chip evacuation. They can be used for production threading in both conventional or CNC equipment, in a wide range of material groups, including difficult to machine materials such as High Tensile Strength Steels and Stainless Steel. Black Oxide surface treatment provides improved lubricity and helps prevent the formation of built up edge. Spiral Flute taps are designed for producing blind holes in a work piece. The 2160N is manufactured to industry recognized USCTI 302A Standards.

Worth it if you dont want your oil cap to get damaged.

I used to use a regular filter clamp form by oil filter cap and it was damaging it. I bought this and it was definitely worth it. If anyone is wondering I have a 2007 bmw 335i e93 and it was a perfect fit.

Actually works on BMW!
I purchased this after the shorter black fluted tool I bought last year failed me. This thing is way better constructed, fits perfect , and actually works to turn it after you can’t turn it by hand any further. Was able to get torqued down to 25nm no problem finally with ease!
