miles! And to do it all in one long walk.
Russ found a willing walking companion in friend Liz Hayman and Fizzy the dog.
Both Russ and Liz had been great supporters of ChildrenÕs Hospice South West so they decided it would add a different dimension to 'just' doing
the walk if they could, in addition, raise funds for the Little Bridge House and its sister hospices.
Starting on 25th April 2011, Russell, Liz and Fizzy, with the support of Russell's wife Gill, finished their walk of the South West Coast Path on 14th June 2011 and completed the missing link from Lulworth Cove to Worth Matravers on
Sunday August 14th 2011. All that remains as evidence are lots of photos, aching knees, great big smiles and a massive £16,000 (and rising) raised for ChildrenÕs Hospice South West!
