The VELUX BDX insulation collar sits between the roof structure and the window frame and insulates the gap between the two, which reduces heat loss. The insulation collar also includes the BFX underfelt collar in the package. The BFX ensures a weather tight seal between the roof window and the roof. The BDX 2000 comprises of three installation products - Insulation Collar (BDX), Underfelt Collar (BFX), and drainage gutter. Together they seal and insulate around the window externally.
