8 inches bass driver active subwoofer

Don't let its compact size fool you, the Kube 8b may not take up much space but the bass it delivers is anything but small. With an 8 inches driver the Kube8b is perfect for smaller living rooms. It shares the 300 Watts Class D amp from the bigger Kubes and has iBX technology to extend the bass depth dynamically.

Hear new dimensions in sound with Kube subwoofers

The Kube 8b effortlessly unleashes explosive power. iBX technology extends the bass depth dynamically and KEF’s unique ability to design, build and integrate the driver in-house takes optimisation to a whole new level. Delivering immersive music and home theatre sound that takes you to the heart of the performance.

Immersiveness

Go deep or go home. KEF’s design and engineering team worked in chorus to develop iBX. This Intelligent Bass Extension algorithm creates an extended depth that unlocks the full potential of the custom driver. Giving you unparalleled precision and ultimate synchronicity between amplifier, driver and sealed cabinet.

Easy configuration

Kube subwoofers offer unmatched set up flexibility. A range of LFE, line and speaker-level inputs, phase selection and DSP controlled EQ settings help you get the best from a Kube. Put it in a convenient place, match it to any main speaker or type of music system and start exploring new depths in the sound.

Integration

KEF is quite possibly the only high-end manufacturer that designs, engineers and assembles the driver, cabinet and circuitry in-house. This level of integration means we are committed to pure sound and the Kube stays true to that ideal. The result is a driver and amplifier that are perfectly in tune.

I went from start to finish on this book and feel more than comfortable with the basics of this platform. If I can do it, so can journalists.

Bugs Within Code
Format: Paperback
The blueprint code where we change the material of the character skeletal mesh has a serious game breaking bug. When the player picks up just ONE of the spheres, the game exits after three seconds despite the fact that there are still two remaining. I followed the code to the letter, even going out of my way to using the exact same engine version as in the book. There are no hints nor tips within the book that offers solutions should any problems arise. Therefore, one would expect the code to be flawless and bug free. At this point, one would be better off seeking free tutorials from elsewhere. The book does not go in depth with anything considered 'advanced' (interactive doors). Very disappointing considering how much one pays for the book.

A Must Have For The Beginner
Format: Kindle
So I've had an the opportunity to spend time with this book and I have to say that I'm very satisfied. Normally when you're reading tech books that claim to be for beginners they assume that you know things and skips steps, but this book doesn't do that. I went from being super intimidated about programming and back end development, but this book eases your mind and makes you feel like you can do anything. And after reading it you start looking at programming in a completely different way. Pros: * Easy to comprehend * Well laid out * The tone of the author is very pleasant and not boring at all * Encourages you to experiment with what you've learned and encourages you to go out explore even further * He makes you feel smart * He makes you feel like you actually have a shot at being a paid developer Cons: * There were a few typos and some missing syntax in a few of the coding examples, but even with that being the case this book is still awesome Once I land a gig here in the next three months it'll be thanks to this book and this amazing author. Thanks =)

A good book for beginners
Format: Paperback
Well I spent about 3 hours reviewing this book last night and I actually think I understood most of it. I still have a long way to go. And I’m not ready to call myself a software engineer any time soon. I think I would need to take about 3 college courses in software engineering and this book would be the first textbook. I would recommend that the index be expanded. I would recommend a book on Python to go with this book.
