Completed in its original fitted retailer’s case, stamped J.B. Yabsley, 72 Ludgate Hill, London. Ludgate Hill was one of London’s principal jewellery and luxury trades thoroughfares in the 19th century, connecting the City to St Paul’s, and home to a number of well-regarded jewellers and retailers.
And with all six present, and housed in a retailer’s case from Hull, they feel wonderfully intact. A small survival of a much more formal way of dressing.
