The discography of the great Russian conductor and composer is relatively small. These Beethoven recordings date from the Deutsche Grammophon period, when, in the late 1950s, Markevitch recorded part of his symphonic repertoire. They have been unavailable for a long time. These two precious URANIA CDs fill this inexplicable gap in the market, offering collectors the opportunity to access these interpretations that have left a mark on Beethoven's discography.
