I recommend when installing your birdies new perch that you install it with the hardware hanging externally where your feathered friend cannot play with it 🪶
Please note that your timber perch may start splitting/cracking/shrinking in areas as it continues to dry out since it has been freshly harvested from our forest, however this should not affect your birdies comfort 😁
It's a really good practice to always inspect your birdies toys for any destruction they may have incurred upon their toy and if they've dirtied it to always wash them in warm soapy water so your birdie has nice clean equipment to play with.
