This book contains all the TORCHY stories from Modern Comics #53-102. The first 37 stories are
drawn by her creator and driving force, Bill Ward. Starting with issue #90 Gill Fox more-than-ably
brought his own style and creative energy to this iconic character.
This book was compiled with the best images currently available. That stated, these comics are
seventy years old. The best efforts have been made to make the pages as enjoyable as possible but
not every panel is perfect and some allowances for the age of the books need to be considered when
