Salvia 'Love and Wishes' is a spectacular tender perennial grown for its rich magenta-purple flower spikes and lush green foliage. Flowering continuously from late spring until the first frosts, this vibrant salvia brings bold colour and movement to borders, patio containers, and wildlife-friendly gardens. The nectar-rich blooms are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, making it as beneficial as it is beautiful. Plant Care

Position: Full sun to partial shade in a sheltered location. Thrives in fertile, free-draining soil and benefits from protection from cold winds.

Watering: Water regularly during dry spells, particularly when grown in containers. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings, but avoid prolonged periods of drought while the plant is actively growing and flowering.

Hardiness: Tender perennial. Hardy to around -2°C to -5°C, depending on conditions, and often grown as an annual in colder parts of the UK. In mild areas it may overwinter outdoors with protection, while container-grown plants can be moved to a frost-free location over winter.

Hot Tips: Deadhead spent flower spikes regularly to encourage an almost non-stop display of blooms throughout the season. Avoid cutting plants back hard in autumn; instead, leave the top growth in place over winter and prune in spring once the risk of frost has passed. Pair with ornamental grasses, dahlias, and other late-season performers for a vibrant, pollinator-friendly display.

These are beautiful shoes. A great cross between the ubiquitous flat as a board shoes like vans and tennis shoes. More comfortable than the super flat shoes and more formal than sneakers. Very soft leather. Not much arch support and I don't know if an insert would fit well. I am between an 11.5 and 12 in most brands (actual foot length from heel to tip of big toe is 11 and 1/8 inches). These fit perfectly in a 12 with room for comfort. An 11.5 probably would fit but snugly. I do not agree that they should be sized down at least based on my experience. If you can get these for under eighty dollars like I did they are well worth it. I'll be wearing them all summer.
