Operating without equal in stealth, infiltration and covert operations, the XXth or Alpha Legion of the Space Marines is the one most shrouded in mystery. One of the first to reveal themselves as Traitor Brothers, this legion tricks and beguiles their foes until the very last moment, when it's too late to walk out of a cunning trap. Striking like the mystic hydra emblazoned as their sigil, they are both everywhere and nowhere at the same time; as one Brother falls, another will take his place to execute their long-plotted plans.
Alpharius was considered the most clever and secretive of his Brother Primarchs, preferring to not let his enemies know they were even being attacked until the last possible moment. Taking the side of the Warmaster during the civil war, Alpharius used his secretive tactics and strategies to devastate his loyalist Brothers even as the full extent of his plans will never come to light. Yet while his cunning and guile are legendary, his true secret revolves around his secret twin brother and Primarch, Omegon; a secret that is only passed down in the Alpha Legion and not to a soul outside of it.
