This Play is an excerpt from the novel I wrote in Yoruba Language titled "O SOJU MI". I knew for certain that the time had come for me to write this play in English Language having written the main story as prose in Yoruba Language. The fiction in this play is the story of a young lady's struggles over the vicissitudes of life and her efforts to overcome each bout as they unfold. It showcases the struggling moments a woman who is waiting on the Lord for the fruit of the womb could go through.
This work also portrays the fact that crying may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.
The concept of the story in this play is to show that there is a balm in Gilead. In other words, I can boldly say there is a solution in the Lord Jesus Christ who can do all things, who can bring forth water from the rocks! Nothing is too difficult for God to do!
