Alexis Zoumbas was one of the most sublime musicians to ever cast a shadow across the face of the Earth and no one has been able to translate the emotions of despair-of devastation-through an instrument as effectively as Zoumbas. Years of research and obsession have resulted in this, the first collection of recordings by the legendary and masterful Greek folk violinist Alexis Zoumbas. Very few Pre-War musicians have tapped deeper into the human soul than Zoumbas and this volume presents his most profoundly hypnotic and unearthly pieces. A deep set of notes based on Christopher King's pioneering research from 2012 is accompanied by previously-unpublished photographs as well as original artwork by R. Crumb.Originally issued in 2014 for Record Store Day, the limited release of the LP immediately went out of print. Faithfully remastered from the original 78s, Christopher King's original version of the LP has been enhanced for Third Man Records by the inclusion of a 7' EP featuring two previously unissued and unheard alternate takes of the masterpieces Epirotiko Mirologi and Doina.Amanda Petrusich (New Yorker, Pitchfork) says 'Alexis Zoumbas' expressions of longing are so raw and unmediated that I suspect anyone who has ever yearned for anything - who has ever gazed dolefully out a window, or sighed audibly over a cup of whiskey, or felt subsumed by a certain kind of ache - will feel these songs like a club to the back of the knees. Pretty darn good frother...

This is a pretty darn good frother/whisk, which we use primarily for mixing Crystal Light and LMNT drinks. It holds a charge for a long time and it is easy to recharge with the USB-C port and cable. My only complaint is that you must hold the power button continuously while operating it which is challenging to do using tall cups. It would be much better if is was a two stage on-off switch and had a longer wand, which isn't as long as it could be. But the unit is lightweight, easy to use and very versatile. Overall, I would buy it again.

Works great!

I bought this because the frother I had was very weak. Even with new batteries, it just never had much oomph. I liked the idea of it being rechargeable and no more batteries!
I expected to have to charge it when it came, but it had full power. I have used it every day since it arrived, and it hasn't slowed down a bit. It is easy to use, just pushing down with my thumb on the top. I also love that it has a lid/case. When I bring it on a trip it is fully protected from damage.
I highly recommend this frother. It is the best one I have had - and I have had quite a few.

Great Little Gadget

What a fun and easy to use gadget! I use it to foam Zero Sugar Coffeemate creamer for my iced coffee and it works perfectly. I thought the on/off button was on the top but it's on the side. I was concerned that I would unintentionally bump it but I don't. Easy to use, easy to clean and price is reasonable.

What a pleasant surprise to experience this double whisk Electric Milk Frother!! The sheer power is incredible. Makes the most delicious blended Green Tea Match Latte, Dalgona Coffee and Mochas! The only "con" happened yesterday when I was frothing my Green Tea and the device just suddenly stopped! At the time, I wished that there was some sort of colored bulbs or other way of determining charge levels. A remarkably strong Milk Frother!
