Forged at high temperature (including the markings) these shackles receive no surface damage from hand stamping and do not suffer from weaknesses found in shackles manufactured from steel bar. No expense is spared by Crosby in the design and manufacture of these vital rigging components.

• The capacities 1/3 up to 55 metric tonnes are grade 6
• Forged, Quenched and tempered with alloy pins
• Working load limit and grade 6 is permanently shown on every shackle
• The shackles are hot dip galvanised or self-coloured and are fatigue rated
• Shackles 25 Tonne and over are RFID-equipped (Radio Frequency Identification)
• The Shackles can be provided proof tested with certificates to designated standards, such as ABS, DNV, Lloyds, or any other certification. Proof testing and certification available when requested 
• The Shackles are approved to be used in temperatures ranging from -40˚Cup to 204˚C
