Our fifth release on the XK150 comes as the fixed head coupe version, which emphasises its streamlined appearance. The Jaguar XK150 was produced between 1957 and 1961 by Jaguar Cars in Coventry. Classed as a sports car and with minimal rear seating, it came as a 2-3 seater coupe as modelled here, a 2-3 seater convertible or a 2-seater roadster, also released as an Oxford replica.

Our coupe, registered 690 KVA, is decorated in Cotswold Blue and this midnight blue shade is complemented by the silver masking to window surrounds, bumpers, radiator grille and the spoked wheels. The inside of the car is even more intricately modelled, where the high level of detail extends to the finely reproduced door panels and dashboard in pale grey, a slightly darker grey instrument panel and seats, all in contrast to the pale lilac pink 'carpet'. Note the handbrake lever, too, which is fitted to the passenger transmission tunnel.
