The story follows Titus, who was autistic, and Surus who bonded when the boy was just five years old. Their bond was one of love, trust, courage, compassion that opened Titus’s capability to understand the world around him and grow into manhood, while becoming a warrior. Together, they formed a unique friendship in the ancient world that made them a formidable fighting force for Hannibal Barca’s army.
