At 3mm thick, retains heat for even and consistent cooking. Black carbon steel is a natural mineral material free of any harsh chemicals or coatings, and is PTFE and PFOA free. My husband doesn’t like wearing pullover sweaters because he gets hot after being inside for awhile. This sweater jacket was perfect. It’s stylish and well made. Very comfortable and great price. When I gave him the pkg and reminded me he didn’t like sweaters inside. When he opened it and was pleasantly surprised. Finally he could wear a sweater that was easy to put on and take off. He loved everything about it. I bought more colors and he wears every one of them. Great sweater!
