Tamper purports to be a calibrated force tamper while it is a simpler spring-loaded depth-setting tamper ground distribution tool has a gap that gathers grounds if it is not perfectly closed. portafilter screen is pretty dang good the dose funnel chamfer is not at the same height as the rim of the portafilter, making me overfill for estimate fits my Casabrews Ultimate setup pretty well. blower bulb is woefully undersized to produce enough force to eject extraneous grounds

Premium Finish: The matte black anodized aluminum feels incredibly durable and matches high-end espresso gear perfectly. The Not-So-Good: Price Point: It is definitely a premium option. You can find plastic versions for less, but they won't have the same weight or magnetic security. Pro Tips: Maintenance: This is anodized metal; do not put it in the dishwasher. Just wipe it with a dry cloth or a dedicated coffee brush. Magnet Care: Keep the bottom magnets clean. If coffee oils or grounds build up on the magnets, the "snap" won't feel as secure. I've been stubborn about buying a funnel - yet another coffee tool to simplify and optimize, right? But, it really does reduce the mess when using the WDT tool. The magnets are quite good, a different brand funnel (with magnets) wouldn't even stick to my portafilter. The fit is OK - it does slide around on my 58mm basket if I move the funnel. But, that hasn't been an issue because the magnets keep it in place. The shape is also a bit more tasteful than most of the generic funnels. Oh, and beware - if you're grinding directly into your portafilter basket (hands-free), the funnel may not fit into your grinder's portafilter-holder. This was the case with my DF54 grinder. Overall, I'd say it was worth the extra ~$4 USD over generic competitors.

This current model still makes it much better than with no funnel and does the job quite well.
