Feels like sitting around a fire

The battles in The Iliad felt sharp and real, and the long journey in The Odyssey pulled me in without getting lost in heavy words. This translation made it so much easier to follow the stories without losing the poetry that makes Homer special. I found myself looking forward to picking it up each day, and the flow kept me engaged instead of exhausted.
