We picked this lamp for our bedside in Newport Beach because the mosaic throws colored light across the wall when the room goes dark. Dimmer to the lowest setting, a Yankee jar underneath, lights out at 10 — the candle gets used up evenly instead of tunneling, and there's no flame to worry about with a sleeping toddler in the next room.

How to Use

1. Place a jar candle (up to 4" diameter) on the warming plate.
2. Plug in. Turn the in-line dimmer up until the bulb glows warm.
3. Wait 15 to 30 minutes. Top of the wax goes glossy — fragrance starts.
4. Run up to 8 hours. Turn off via the dimmer when you're done.

Care

• Wipe the glass shade with a soft damp cloth, only when cool
• No harsh chemicals — they pit the grout between tiles
• Let the bulb cool fully before lifting the shade or moving the lamp
• Replacement bulbs at any hardware store for around $3

Does the bulb really come included?
Yes. We pre-install an E12 candelabra bulb so the lamp works the moment you plug it in. We had too many returns from people who didn't realize most warmer lamps ship empty.

How long does a candle last on this versus burning it?
About 2 to 3 times longer. The bulb melts the wax surface evenly without burning off the fragrance, so the same jar gives you more hours of scent.

Will it work with wax melts and tea lights too?
Yes. Anything that fits the 4" warming plate — wax melts, tea lights, small votives, jar candles. Tea lights stay unlit; the bulb does the warming.

Is it safe with kids and pets?
Safer than burning a candle — there's no open flame and the base stays cool. The bulb housing itself does get warm, so the lamp wants to live somewhere a curious hand can't grab the shade.

Each lamp looks slightly different in the photos. Which one will I get?
Each lamp is hand-assembled, so the tile pattern varies slightly from piece to piece. The color palette stays consistent (blues, greens, warm ambers), but no two are identical.
