General Application / Compatibility

• All MerCruiser 140hp 3.0L & 3.0LX 4cyl Applications 1972-Early 90's before MerCruiser/GM switched over to a Metal timing gear around the time of the 1-piece rear main engines (but this will still work in those applications as well).  This particular camshaft was used for pretty much the entirety of the GM 181 4cyl, but it is more anything before 1972 or around that time period that uses a different type of timing gear.
