- At the Bonneville Salt Flats on 13 September 1948, Rollie Free was determined to break the land speed record in the "Flying Mile." His first attempt was at 148 mph (238 km/h), which broke the record, but Free was determined to break the elusive 150 mph barrier. Noticing that his riding leathers had started to come apart at the seams from the force of the wind, Free borrowed a bathing suit, cap, and a pair of tennis shoes and laid down on the bike. With the decreased drag, Free broke 150 mph, topping out at 150.313 mph (241.905 km/h), shattering his record of only a few moments before. Free was riding the very first Vincent HRD Black Lightning, later known as the "John Edgar Lightning" after its owner.

Jeff Decker is a sculptor and historian who is known for his bronze sculptures, the most notable of which is titled "By the Horns" (also known as The Hill Climber), a 16-foot-tall, 5,000-pound bronze located on the grounds of the Harley-Davidson Museum. His bronze-cast sculptures depicting the synergy of man and modern machines, particularly historic motorcycles, is known in both the motorcycling community and the world of fine art. As of 2009, Decker was Harley-Davidson's official sculptor.

Great shoes for the little one taking his/her first steps
Great shoes for the little one taking his/her first steps!! I actually ordered 2 pairs, one for my son in the 12-18 months (even tho he was 10 months old) and a 6-12 month for a friend. The 6-12 month fit my son perfect!! (my son was in a size 5) but I knew they would only last a few weeks so I kept the 12-18 month ones and he started wearing them. He seemed to like them, never tried taking them off and they were easier to walk in than socks but for some reason the top of the foot area is HUGE! They stayed on no problem but lots of wiggle room in the top... He is now running and wears shoes with a thicker sole for the rocks but we still love these for inside when it is too cold to go barefoot. I would say the 12-18 month fit like an average size 6.

Great barefoot option for early walkers!

A moccasin is such a great place to start! Buying barefoot shoes can be hard.. they’re not always the cutest, can be expensive & there’s a lot to pay attention to! We love moccasins as a great first shoe for our boys. Perfect for summer because they’re more like a sandal & let in air flow.

The material is great! My child likes it and hasn’t tried to take them off! They are lightweight and not bulky. Very flexible ! Also I did my research and it’s made in the UK and made with genuine leather! The color is cute as well! Wish they did have more variety here in Amazon but still okay with it!

Cute, soft, comfy
Size: 6-12 Months Infant, Color: Navy
I wanted a leather sole shoe for my ten month old daughter for playing outside this summer so she could have protection for her feet without a hard “supportive” shoe inhibiting her ability to learn to balance or affecting her feet as the bones continue to develop.
These are perfect, they are soft and easy to put on. The elastic in the ankle holds it on without being too tight and it doesn’t dig into her skin at all. Provide protection and grip as she learns to walk and are not too bulky at all. I got the 9-12 month size and it has enough room to accommodate a chubbier foot than my daughter has, but still fits well and looks adorable.
